-Graphing the immigration numbers
-Viewing NFB documentary: In the Shadow of Gold Mountain Questions distributed in class Nov 10: we examined statistics from the late 20s and discussed how many immigrants came to Canada, and where they came from. Then we compared it to 2013. I then gave you more details about who came to Canada, where they moved to, and who was not allowed in (Chinese Exclusion Act). Last week we learned about inventions created by Canadians, and how some of the companies created by these inventors are still around today! (Rogers and Bombardier, for example).
